Why should you connect your Jira profile to Briefmatic?
Briefmatic is all about helping you view and manage all your tasks from all your apps all in one place and Jira is an important part of that.
Connecting your Jira profile to your Briefmatic account allows you to see, review and manage all your Jira tasks that have been assigned to you from within Briefmatic (or from within Jira if you click on “Go to Item” in the task detail panel). Once connected Briefmatic will import any Jira tasks assigned to you that are in an open state i.e. not Done. You can then view and prioritise these tasks against all the other work you have on.
How to connect Jira to your Briefmatic account
To connect your Jira profile to your Briefmatic account follow these steps;
Go to the Connections tab, click on the “Connect” button on the Jira card and follow the prompts to authorise the connection. Briefmatic requires this approval to be able to scan Jira to find open tasks that have been assigned to you.
Once the connection is enabled the syncing process will begin in the background and this may take a few minutes to complete depending on the number of open tasks that have been assigned to you.
