Why should you connect your Microsoft Outlook account to Briefmatic?

Briefmatic is all about helping you view and manage all your tasks from all your apps all in one place and helping you find and manage tasks buried in your inbox is an important part of that.

Once connected, Briefmatic will import any "flagged" emails from your Outlook account as tasks and add them to your "To Do" list in Briefmatic. From there you can view, prioritise and manage these tasks against all your other work. Once you're done with the task, just move it to Done in Briefmatic and the 'flag" will be removed in Outlook to keep things nicely synced up.

How to connect Microsoft Outlook to your Briefmatic account

To connect your Outlook account to your Briefmatic account follow these steps;

  1. Go to the Connections tab, click on the “Connect” button on the Microsoft Outlook card and follow the prompts to authorise the connection. Briefmatic requires this approval to be able to scan your Outlook account to find "flagged" emails that have not yet been deleted and create a two sync between Briefmatic and Microsoft Outlook.

  2. Once the connection is enabled the syncing process will begin in the background and this may take a few minutes to complete depending on the number of flagged emails you have.
