Briefmatic makes it easy to see all your tasks and to do's all in one place. It does this by allowing you to connect all google workspace apps plus all the other apps you work in and collating all the items that need your attention into a single unified list.
To start building this unified list you first need to connect your Briefmatic account with your Google Drive account and then connect your Gmail account.
Step 1 - Log in to your Briefmatic account.
Step 2 - Connect your google drive profile to Briefmatic
If you haven't already then first connect your google drive profile to your Briefmatic account. This will allow Briefmatic to import all your tasks ("comments" that have been assigned to you) from across all your google apps. The tasks will be added to your todo list (shown in Task List or on the Task Board).
Go to the Connections page and click on Connect on the Google Drive card then follow the prompts to approve the connection. Once the connection is approved Briefmatic will begin searching for and importing all your tasks from all your across your google apps.
Step 3 - Connect your gmail account to Briefmatic
Once you've connected your google drive account the next step is to connect your gmail account to your Briefmatic account.
To do this, go to the Connections page and click on the Connect button on the Gmail card. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection. Once the connection is approved, Briefmatic will begin searching your gmail account and retrieving any starred items. These items will then be added to your Task List and Task Board.
Once you have authorised the connection why not give it a whirl. Open gmail and click on the Star option. These Starred emails will then be imported into Briefmatic.
Note: items can be both "Important" and "Starred" but they have to be starred to appear in Briefmatic.
Starred emails will appear in your Task List or Task Board like any other task from all your google apps.
Just click on the item in your Task List or Task Board to view the task detail. You will note that the subject of the email becomes the task title and the body of the email becomes the task description.
