Briefmatic makes it easy for you to bring all your work from all your apps all together in one place so you can view, prioritize and schedule time for your tasks like a pro.
Lots of Briefmatic users have important tasks to complete that reoccur on a regular basis. This guide explains how users can schedule the task in Briefmatic and then use Google Calendar functionality to create a recurring appointment to make sure this work gets completed on time, every time.
Creating a task and then turning it into a recurring appointment helps;
Protect time for important, repeatable work (e.g., weekly reviews, client follow-ups).
Turn intentions into action by aligning your task list with your actual schedule.
Reduce mental load—no need to reschedule the same task every week.
Support time-blocking or themed days for better focus and structure.
Improve visibility for teammates and avoid scheduling conflicts.
So, to turn a Briefmatic task into a recurring calendar appointment, simply follow these steps;
First, Log in to Briefmatic and navigate to the Scheduler tab.
Select the relevant task from the "To Schedule" column and drag and drop the task into the desired space in your schedule. If the Task doesnt exist yet, just click "Add Task" to create and schedule the new task.
Once the task has been created and scheduled in Briefmatic, open Google Calendar: https://calendar.google.com
Click on the event you want to make recurring.
In the event pop-up, click the pencil/edit icon.
In the event editor, find the field that says “Does not repeat” next to the calendar icon (under the date/time).
Click on “Does not repeat” and choose a recurrence option (e.g., Daily, Weekly, Custom).
Adjust recurrence settings as needed and click Save.
Google Calendar will ask whether to apply changes to:
This event
This and following events
All events Choose appropriately and confirm.
Once this is completed, Briefmatic and Google Calendar will now sync this recurring appointment across the two apps and hopefully ensure this task is completed on time, every time moving forward.
